About Us

I am a trade certified licenced building practitioner with over 40 years experience in the building industry ranging from commercial, light commercial, residential and some time spent in the manufacturing of kitchen and aluminium joinery.  I believe this experience is a major advantage to my contribution to the building inspection industry.  My main goal in this industry is to offer a service that leaves no unanswered questions.  To achieve this goal I have a large range of investigative and diagnostic equipment, and have undertaken the necessary training to specialize in this area.  This equipment gives me the opportunity to offer my customers a meaningful report which is easy to interpret so that customers are in the position to make a well informed decision.  If requested to meet customer needs I have a large team of experienced sub-contractors who are able to offer quotes for any necessary repair work.

Our Equip

Thermal Imaging Camera – Testo 885 high resolution camera with one of the highst thermal sensitivities available.  This camera allows me to find the smallest of discrepancies.

Moisture Meters – Trotect, measures to a depth of 40mm.  This allows us to confirm discrepancies found by the thermal imaging camera.

Video Scope - Trotect video scope with a 6mm X 1m probe.  This allows us to verify discrepancies found by the thermal imagining camera.  This is done by drilling a 6mm hole in the surface of the wall for example.  The benefit of this method prevents significant damage and or demolition when it doesn’t need to be.
